Ham and Cheese Party Sandwiches

By | 12:38 PM
Cut these sandwiches in half or quarters to show off the colorful layers and make them easier to hold.

Ingredients

  • sandwich buns, split
  • 3 tablespoons Italian dressing
  • 6 ounces thinly sliced ham
  • 6 ounces thinly sliced salami
  • thin provolone cheese slices
  • small Bibb lettuce leaves
  • small tomato, thinly sliced
  • 1/2 cup garlic-and-herb spreadable cheese (we used Alouette)

Preparation

  1. 1. Brush cut sides of each bun with dressing using a pastry brush. Arrange ham, salami, cheese, lettuce, and tomato on bottom halves of buns. Spread cut side of top halves of buns with spreadable cheese. Place top halves of buns, cheese side down, on each sandwich, pressing gently. Wrap sandwiches individually in plastic wrap, and chill in refrigerator overnight.
  2. 2. To serve, unwrap sandwiches, and cut into quarters or halves, if you'd like.
